It has been a while since the wedding celebration was cut short because of the bad weather. Unfortunately this time we were not provided with an opportunity for a quick move to a close safe spot so we had to stop because the wind and pouring rain would not let us continue. We have done weddings in situations like that before but we always moved inside ahead of the pouring rain. We cannot reset with wet equipment and continue. It is hazardous for us and for the equipment. This little tent provided is great for sun protection but not for a thunder and lightning storm with wind gusts and pouring rain. Always have an alternate solution in case of bad weather.
For the near future, we will book very limited outside weddings and only if there is a place very close by where we can move quickly before it will start raining.
